This specimen was lot 22348 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Prince Edward Island. 1/2 Penny Token, ND (1829). NGC AU-55 Brown. PE-10-2. Obverse: a square-rigged bark sails right; reverse: "SHIPS COLONIES & COMMERCE". A few minor marks consistent with the assigned grade. Dark brown surfaces." unlisted in KM.
This specimen was lot 22437 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it sold for $1,500. The catalog description[1] noted, "DOMINICA. 10 Dollars, 2018. Scottsdale Mint. GEM UNCIRCULATED. KM-Unlisted. 1 oz AGW. Mintage: 2,500. An interesting issue that depicts a customary scenery from this small tropical island. Housed in the original, sealed mint packaging."
This specimen was lot 22472 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it sold for $204. The catalog description[1] noted,
"[[France|FRANCE]. Besancon. Carolus, 1541. Charles V. PCGS AU-55 Gold Shield. Roberts-7005. Well detailed and lustrous. Although today Besancon is part of France, in 1541 it was part of the Holy Roman Empire. It was incorporated into France in 1678. Roberts comments, 'One of the oddest portrait series within the boundaries of modern France is that of Besancon, the principal town of the Franche-Comte. In 1534, the emperor Charles V granted the town...rights to issue coinage...on condition that every coin must bear the date of issue, the coat of arms, and the portrait of himself, Charles V. Thus, his image graces all issues, large and small, for 140 years, until the town was conquered by the forces of Louis XIV in 1674.'"

Louis XIV. PCGS Genuine--Harshly Cleaned, EF Details Gold Shield. 7.98 gms. Gad-256; Dupl. 1449; Fr-444; KM 390.1; Dr/4-417; Dr/2-278. Although cleaned as described, this is a rare date of a tough type, the louis d'or au soleil. From the Dr. Morgan Collection."

Perfect for the grade with bold and evenly detailed designs, very few marks and wonderful rich gray patina that blankets both sides.
