This specimen was lot 20185 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $4,230. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. 8 Soles, 1863-FP. NGC MS-65. KM-138.6. Single finest graded of the date at either NGC or PCGS. Sharply struck with lustrous satiny surfaces. Lovely multicolor tone creeping in the from the peripheries. Significantly better than what is normally found and sure to excite the connoisseur of Latin American or World crowns."

20 g, .903 fine silver, struck 1859-63, last 8 soles struck. reduced from 27 g to 20 g in 1859.
