This specimen was lot 30424 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $1,560. The catalog description[1] noted, "Charles III gold 8 Escudos 1782 PTS-PR AU55 NGC, Potosi mint, KM 59, Cal-831. Wholly attractive, with umber-gold tone over both sides and very minor wear affecting the higher points. Difficult to acquire finer."
KM 59, struck 1778-88, no premium for this date, m. unknown.
