This specimen was lot 1173 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $968. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA, Republic. 1825-present. AR Sol (20 mm, 3.56 g, 7h). Potosí mint. Fortunato Equivar and Joaquin Zemborain, assayers. Dated 1856/5 PTS FJ. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64. Brilliant uncirculated full strike. Just a hint of patina. Very scarce date, especially in such beautiful condition. Highest graded specimen. Purchased from Louis Collins, November 1980."
KM 119.2; Y 3a. struck 1855-58. 3 g, .667 fine silver.
