This specimen was lot 40030 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $2,280. The catalog description[1] noted, "BELGIUM. 2 Franc, 1835. PCGS MS-63. KM-9.1. Position A edge (lettering inclined to left). Carefully preserved with undiminished satiny luster in the fields, very few instances of handling for the grade and attractive light tone over both sides. RARE in this alluring quality with an accompanying Standard Catalog of World Coins valuation of $4,000 in MS-60 condition."
