This specimen was lot 3598 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €3,500 (about US$4,521 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"KÖNIGREICH Ludwig I. 1825-1848. Dukat 1830. Donaugold. 3,47 g. Kopf r.//Der Flußgott lagert nach l. den rechten Arm auf eine Wasserurne gelegt; der linke Arm liegt auf dem bayerischen Wappen, neben seinen Füßen Schilf. Mit lateinischer Legende auf der Vorderseite. Divo/S. 28; Fr-272; Schl. 87. GOLD. RR Leicht gewellt, fast Stempelglanz. Die Rückseitendarstellung dieses Dukaten ist aus dem 18. Jahrhundert übernommen worden. Sie lehnt sich an römische Vorbilder an. (kingdom of Bavaria, Louis I, 1825-48, ducat of 1830, struck from Danube river gold. Obverse: head right; reverse: river god seated left, with his right arm supporting a flowing urn while the left arm supports the Bavarian arms; Latin legend on reverse. Rare, choice uncirculated, slightly bent. The river god design was copied from several Roman models.)"
