This specimen was lot 24664 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $1,527.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Bavaria. Maximilian I 2 Taler 1626, Dav-6072, 58.32 g, XF, there is a very small flan flaw along Madonna's scepter and some hairlines are visible from a light cleaning in the past. Handsomely toned with russet-gray clinging to the devices. The planchet is approximately 3.5mm thick."
