This specimen was lot 4129 in Sincona sale 43 (Zurich, October 2017), where it sold for 14,000 CHF (about US$16,706 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Stadt und Kanton Basel, Dicken 1521. Baselstab in doppeltem Dreipass. Rv. Madonna mit Christuskind. 9.46 g. Ewig 325. HMZ 2-63b. Von grösster Seltenheit. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Attraktives Exemplar. (city and canton of Basel, dicken of 1521; obverse: city arms in double shield; reverse: Madonna and Child. Of the highest rarity, Very fine-extremely fine, Most attractive specimen.)"
