This specimen was lot 2744 in Sincona sale 43 (Zurich, October 2017), where it sold for 750 CHF (about US$895 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Franz Joseph I. 1848-1916 Gulden 1857 E. Karlsburg 12.34 g. Herinek 540. Jaeckel 328. Sehr selten. Gutes sehr schön. (empire of Austria, Francis Joseph I, 1848-1916, gulden of 1857, Karlsburg mint. Very rare, Good very fine.)"
KM 2219, florin, struck 1857-65 at A, B, E, M, V. mintage unknown but probably in the millions. 1857-E XF $375 (vs. $12 for 1861-A).
