This specimen was lot 1650 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €17,000 (about US$22,913 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Leopold II. 1790-1792. Konv.-Taler 1790, A, Wien, für Ungarn. Königstaler. 28,04 g. Zwei Engel halten Krone über das zweifeldige Wappen, unten Lorbeer- und Palmzweig gekreuzt//Madonna mit Krone und Zepter sitzt v. v. auf Wolken, auf dem Schoß hat sie das Kind, das einen Reichsapfel hält und die Linke emporhebt. Mit Randschrift: OPES REGVM CORDA SVBDITORVM, dazwischen Verzierungen. Dav-1172; J. 72. Äußerst selten in dieser Erhaltung. Kabinettstück. Erstabschlag. Prachtvolle Patina, Stempelglanz. (Holy Roman Empire, Leopold II, 1790-92, convention thaler of 1790, Vienna mint, struck for Hungary. Obverse: two angels support a crown over the arms of Hungary, laurel and palm wreaths below; reverse: Madonna and Child on a cloud. Extremely rare in this quality, cabinet piece, first strike, exquisite patina, uncirculated.)"
