This specimen was lot 30005 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $28,200. The catalog description[1] noted, "1647 Ferdinand III 2 Ducats Seldom Found in Such Condition Ferdinand III gold 2 Ducats 1647, Graz mint, Fr-206, MS62 NGC. Obv. Emperor standing, facing, holding orb and scepter. Rev. Crowned arms with date above. Shimmering luster with no flaws worthy of concern. Very rare in this Choice condition. Ferdinand III was born in Graz. He was the Holy Roman Emperor during a large part of the Thirty Years' War, and with the great help of his envoy Maximilian von und zu Trauttmansdorff, successfully brought the conflict to a conclusion.
