This specimen was lot 20223 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Anaheim, CA, August 2016), where it sold for $822.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. Shilling, 1935. Melbourne Mint. NGC MS-65. KM-26. Population of one with one finer (MS-66) at NGC. A gem coin that very closely borders on superb gem. Bright neon white luster with fine textured satin surfaces. The reverse in particular is almost unimprovable, with the kangaroo and emu appearing to float on a silver cloud of luster."
