This specimen was part of lot 20190 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), which did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Exceedingly Rare, Gem Proof 1935 George V Halfpenny and Penny - George V Proof Halfpenny & Penny 1935, KM 22 and 23, certified by NGC as follows: Halfpenny Proof 66 BN, pristine surfaces with rich deep brown gloss and iridescent luster in the legends, an incredible coin in all respects, and Penny Proof 65 BN, exquisite mahogany with blue-green highlights and fully reflective fields. A rare pair, each with an original mintage of 100."
