This specimen was lot 20610 in Heritage sale 3021 (New York, January 2013), where it sold for $12,925. The catalog description[1] noted, "Augsburg - Free City. Leopold the Hogmouth HRE gold 2 Ducats 1672, KM89, Fr-70, MS63 NGC Millennia Collection, a wonderful example of this very rare type with well-struck features and full mint brilliance. The obverse features conjoined busts of Leopold and Margaret while the reverse depicts the city arms with an angel above."
