This specimen was lot 6001 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $822.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "ALBANIA. 2 Franga Ari, 1926-R. NGC MS-63. KM-7; Mont-44. Sower walking right. Issued under King Zog while president prior to his self-coronation as king of Albania several years later. Designed by Giuseppe Romagnoli at the Rome mint. An all white masterpiece of coinage art, with the deep concave fields launching luminescent luster in every direction. Extremely conservatively graded, it is difficult to imagine a nicer example at this grade level."
