The Albania 1939-R 0.20 lek coins can be found in two varieties: magnetic and non-magnetic. The two varieties are indistinguishable by sight and can only be told apart by carefully using a magnet to test for attraction or non-attraction. The exact mintages of the two varieties are unknown but it appears that the magnetic version is the more common of the two by a slight margin. The two varieties share a total mintage of 900,000 pieces, so neither is rare.
