This specimen was lot 1474 in Sincona sale 73 (Zurich, November 2021), where it sold for 275 CHF (about US$354 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALY | House of Savoy / Sardinia. Emanuele Filiberto, 1553-1580. Bianco o 4 Soldi 1576, Torino. I tipo. Mit Gegenstempel: Wappen. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. Etwas Belag am Rand. (Italy, duchy of Savoy, Emanuel Philibert, 1553-80, bianco or four soldi of 1576, Turin mint, first type, with counterstamp. Rare, Good very fine, Some residues at the edge.)"
None of the silver or gold coins of Savoy of the sixteenth century can be called common. Savoy was not one of the prosperous regions of Italy like Milan or Tuscany. Twenty soldi made a lira.
