This type is listed for 1860-77. This type, struck for William III (1849-90) is virtually indistinguishable from those struck for William I 1817-31 and 1837 (KM-47). This date is common in all grades. In 1877, the cent was reduced to 2.5 g (KM 107.1).

Recorded mintage: 13,047,000.

Specification: 3.84 g, copper, 22 mm diameter.
