This specimen was lot 11115 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $588. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. War of Independence Guadalajara. 8 Reales, 1822/1-FS. Scarce date. Nice strike, attractively toned. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED." The Guadalajara mint was the most prolific branch mint during the War of Independence and the only one which minted gold. This coin was struck after independence but before the new coin designs were ready. The SCWC awards no premium to the overdate. Assayer FS operated 1818-36.
