This specimen was part of lot 34108 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), which sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Elizabeth II 10-Piece Certified Proof Set 1953 PCGS, 1) Farthing - PR65 Red and Brown; 2) 1/2 Penny - PR65 Red and Brown; 3) Penny - PR65 Red and Brown; 4) 3 Pence - PR66; 5) 6 Pence - PR66; 6) Shilling - PR66 Cameo. Scottish Reverse; 7) Shilling - PR65 Cameo. English Reverse; 8) Florin - PR66 Cameo; 9) 1/2 Crown - PR66 Cameo; 10) Crown - PR65 Cameo." The obverse legend was revised in 1954 and the half crown was terminated in 1970.

Recorded mintage: 4,333,000 + 40,000 proofs.

Specification: 14.14 g, copper-nickel, 32.3 mm diameter.
