The Mexico City mint struck this type 1825-34, 1841-63 and 1869; the SCWC prices this date as common. The first specimen was lot 150 in Ponterio sale 158 (New York, January 2010), here it sold for $325. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Escudo, 1858-MoFH. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED." The second specimen was lot 45330 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Costa Mesa, CA, August 2021), where it sold for $180. The catalog description[2] noted, "MEXICO. Escudo, 1858-Mo "GG". FINE Details. Weight: 2.8 g. Contemporary counterfeit with fictitious assayers' initials. A decently engraved forgery, with some weakness in the centers but bold peripheral detail." The reverse of the counterfeit looks good enough that it may have been struck using a worn out genuine die stolen from the mint.
