'60th Anniversary of Reign.' NGC MS-61."  This gold coin, among the last issued before Austria's suicidal plunge into World War One, commemorated the sixtieth anniversary of the reign of Francis Joseph, emperor of [[Austria]] 1848-1916. This specimen was lot 7035 in Ponterio sale 152 (New York, January 2010), where it sold for $3,335. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. 100 Corona, 1908. '60th Anniversary of Reign.' NGC MS-61."
