This specimen is one of a type struck at the Culiacan mint 1898-1905. Culiacan and Zacatecas were the last branch mints to operate in Mexico, closing in 1905. This date is fairly common.

Recorded mintage: 1,804,000.

Specification: 27.07 g, 0.903 fine silver, .786 troy oz ASW.
