This specimen was lot 74701 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $780. The catalog description&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;[1]&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt; noted, &amp;quot;[[Venezuela|VENEZUELA]]. Copper 2 Centavos Essai (Pattern), 1863-E. Paris Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-64 Red Brown.&amp;quot; Numista states that the portrait is of José Antonio Páez (1790-1873, president 1830-35, 1839-43, 1861-63) but there is a possibility that it is of his successor Juan Crisóstomo Falcón Zavarce (1820-70, president 1863-68). The bust was also used on a one centavo, four reales and ten reales. The legend &amp;quot;CIUDADANO ESCLARECIDO&amp;quot; translates as, &amp;quot;Enlightened Citizen.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
