This specimen was lot 980 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $840. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Ukraine|UKRAINE]]: Republic, AV 20 hryvni, 2000, Monuments of Ancient Cultures of Ukraine Series - Cucuteni–Trypillia Culture, bimetallic issue with 5.74 g gold (.916) center, and 7.8 g silver (.925) ring, struck at the Ukrainian mint, Kyiv, Proof. A clay antroph-amorphous statuette from Volodymyrivka is at center; specimens of ware of Trypillia culture and the commemorative inscription is on the ring." The hryvnia was introduced in 1996 to supersede the Karbovanets (1 hryvnia = 100,000 karbovanetsiv). Its sign is "₴". At present (June 2026), US$1 = 45.07 hryven.
