This specimen was lot 2770 in Goldberg sale 109 (Los Angeles, January 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Italy, Tuscany|Italian States: Tuscany]]. 1832. Leopold II. Head right. Reverse; Crowned oval arms. Beautiful iridescent toning. NGC graded MS-64." This type is listed for 1832 and 1839. These obscure little Italian states coins don't catalog for much but are very difficult to find. The ''mezzo paolo'' was one twentieth of a francescone, the Tuscan equivalent of a piastra.
