This specimen was lot 1965 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $105. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Turkey|TURKEY]]: Mahmud II, 1808-1839, AR 5 para, Kostantiniye, AH1223 year 14, fourth monetary series, XF-AU, R, ex Kenneth A. Bovenkamp Collection." This type was struck year 14 only. Another five para of year 14 ([[Turkey AH 1223(3) 5 para|KM 558]]) weighed 1.0-1.2 g. Debasement was continuous throughout the sultan's reign and coinage types were usually shortlived. Forty para equalled a ''kuruş''.
