This specimen was lot 11342 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €240 (about US$250). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Sweden|SWEDEN]]. 2 Mark, 1688 - AS. Stockholm Mint. Karl XI. NGC EF-45. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1675-97. While not rare, its price ascends rapidly with grade. Eight öre made a mark and six mark made a riksdaler.<br />
