This specimen was lot 1365 in Goldberg Sale 139 (Los Angeles, June 2024), where it sold for $114. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Straits Settlements]]. 50 Cents, 1905 (B). Edward VII. Pop 2; 2 in 50; 2 in 55; 2 in 62. PCGS graded EF-45. The Peh Collection Part II." This issue is supposed to have a "B" mintmark (for Bombay) but we can't find it on this specimen. This type was also struck 1902-03, which dates are scarcer. The coin was reduced in weight to [[Straits Settlements 1907-H 50 cents|10.1 g for 1907]].
