This specimen was lot 3328 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $114. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "SPITZBERGEN (SVALBARD): 20 kopecks, 1946, Arktikugol token, light cleaning, XF, ex Hans Mondorf Collection. The Soviet (later [[Russia]]n) state-owned Arktikugol company has mined coal on the Island of Spitsbergen in the Svalbard Archipelago since 1932." This token was issued for use in the Russian concession on Spitzbergen (also known in Norwegian as Svalbard). [[Spitzbergen 1946 10 kopeks|Ten]], [[Spitzbergen 1946 15 kopeks|fifteen]] and [[Spitzbergen 1946 50 kopeks|fifty kopek]] tokens were also issued in 1946. It was struck in Leningrad.
