This specimen was lot 820 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $193.60. The catalog description&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;[1]&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt; noted, &amp;quot;ROMANIA, Principality. Carol I. As Domnitor, 1866-1881. CU 2 Bani. Bucharest mint; privy mark: grain ear. Dated 1880/79 B. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64 RB. Reddish brown patina overall. Only two ever graded, this being the highest. Purchased from M. Louis Teller, July 1979.&amp;quot; This type was struck in Bucharest 1879-81 to the standard of a French bronze two centimes. It is common, tho the overdate receives a substantial premium. Prince Carol was promoted to king in 1881.&lt;br /&gt;
