This specimen was lot 1076 in Sincona sale 90 (Zurich, May 2024), where it sold for 4,750 CHF (about US$6,277 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''DEUTSCHLAND Regensburg, Stadt, Dukat 1653, Regensburg. Auf die Krönung Ferdinands IV. zum römischen König am 18. Juni in Regensburg. Selten. Vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Westfälische Auktionsgesellschaft 54, Dortmund, September 2010, Los 2195.'' ([[Germany]], city of [[German States, Regensburg|Regensburg]], ducat of 1653, Regensburg mint, for the coronation of Ferdinand IV as king of Rome in Regensburg on June 18. Rare, Extremely fine.)"</blockquote> The city fathers also struck a half ducat ([[Regensburg 1653 1/2 ducat Fr-2473|Fr-2473]]) and another ducat ([[Regensburg 1653 ducat Fr-2472|KM 136/Fr-2472]], crown obverse/motto reverse) on this occasion. Ferdinand IV died of smallpox a year after the ceremony, aged 20 years.
