This specimen was lot 22622 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $132. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Germany|GERMANY]]. [[German States, Prussia|Prussia]]. 5 Mark, 1875-B. Hannover Mint. Wilhelm I. PCGS AU-53 Gold Shield. Deeply toned with attractive surfaces for the grade." This type was issued 1874-76 from Berlin, Hannover (shown here) and Cleve but is scarce. The next silver five mark was issued in 1888 (see [[Prussia 1888-A 5 mark Dav-787|Dav-787]]).
