During the American rule, the Philippine peso was fixed at fifty cents U. S. Other denominations include one peso (Chas. Conant), five pesos (McKinley), ten pesos (Washington), twenty pesos (Wm. A. Jones), fifty pesos (Lawton), one hundred pesos (Magellan). The last issue was five, ten and twenty pesos of 1937.
