This one real was struck in Lima for [[Peru]] in 1860. During this transition period, fractionals denominated in reales mixed with those denominated in centavos and centimos. All coinage after 1858 ceased using the &amp;quot;standing liberty&amp;quot; motif and began using the &amp;quot;seated liberty&amp;quot; design. After 1863 the denomination &amp;quot;real&amp;quot; ceased to be minted altho the word &amp;quot;real&amp;quot; was applied to the ''dinero'' coin until at least World War One.&lt;br /&gt;
