This specimen was lot 762 in Sincona Auction 103 (Zürich, May 2026), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$ including buyers' fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''NIEDERLANDE Overijssel, Provinz. Dukat 1733. Sehr selten. Sehr schön. Knapper Schrötling. Knickspur.'' ([[Netherlands]], province of Overijssel, ducat of 1733, Very rare, Very Fine, Small flan, Bent.)"</blockquote> The ducats of this province are scarce. The SCWC and Friedberg both divide the ducats of Overijssel into early (hammered) and late (milled) types but don't agree on the date when the transition occurred. Friedberg mentions 1702-48 for the late type (Fr-269) whereas KM lists 1733, 1738 and 1748 for the late type (KM 82). This specimen doesn't fit either category as the diework is not as crude as the 1705 shown in the SCWC which is, in any case, a [[Utrecht 1729 ducat|ducat of Utrecht]] ("TRA") rather than Overijssel ("TRANSI") but the planchet is not properly round.
