This specimen was lot 2849 in Stephen Album sale 45 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2023), where it sold for $192. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Norway|NORWAY]]: Carl XV, 1859-1872, BI 2 skilling, 1870, a wonderful lustrous example! PCGS graded MS64, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." This one year type was the first issue of this denomination since 1843 and the last before the decimal reform of 1874. It was accompanied by one, three and four skilling (KM 335, 338.1, [[Norway 1871 4 skilling|337]]), also in billon. It is not rare. Prior to the decimal reform, 120 skilling = one [[Norway 1869 specie daler Dav-245|specie daler]].
