This specimen was lot 11158 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €312 (about US$325). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Norway|NORWAY]]. 24 Skilling, 1762-TL. Kongsberg Mint. Frederik V. NGC AU-53. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This is the most common date of a type struck 1761-64. It is lighter and baser than the previous two skilling ([[Norway 1743-TL 2 skilling|KM 235]]). The initials TL stand for Gruls Andersen Lyng, mintmaster at Kongsberg 1737-69. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.<br />
