This specimen was lot 11097 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €870 (about US$907). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Norway|NORWAY]]. Krone, 1678-PG. Christiania mint. Christian V. NGC AU Details--Cleaned. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1670-80. While it is not particularly common, it is often collected in lieu of the much rarer [[Norway 1674-FG specie daler Dav-3656|specie dalers]]. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.<br />
