What was lacking in local coins was made up for by the circulation of large quantities of foreign silver currency. <br /> <br /> Shown is a 2 falus cast copper coin. It was issued under Moulay 'Abd al-Rahman (1822-1859 AD). The seal of Solomon decorates the obverse, and the date appears on the reverse.
