This specimen was lot 1964 in Jean Elsen sale 162 (Brussels, June 2025), where it sold for €180 (about US$250 including buyer's fees). The catalog description&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;[1]&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt; noted, &amp;lt;blockquote&amp;gt;&amp;quot;''ITALIE, MILAN, Charles II d'Espagne (1665-1700), AR quarto di Filippo, 1676. D/ B. cuirassé à d., les cheveux longs. R/ Écu couronné. Rare.'' ([[Italy]], [[Italy, Milan|duchy of Milan]], Charles II of Spain, 1665-1700, silver quarter filippo of 1676. Obverse: armored bust right with long hair; reverse: crowned arms. Rare, about Very Fine.)&amp;quot;&amp;lt;/blockquote&amp;gt; This type was struck 1676 and 1694 and accompanied a half and single filippo ([[Milan 1676 filippo Dav-4005|Dav-4005]]) in silver and a doppia in gold. In 1676, Charles II was fifteen years old and all of Europe was waiting for his death, which would not occur for another 24 years.&lt;br /&gt;
