This specimen was lot 41430 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $750. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Mexico|MEXICO]]. Real, 1845-GC MP. Guadalupe y Calvo Mint. NGC VF-30. A RARE mint, particularly uncommon as a mint for a minor, this example does display extensive evidence of circulation, though it remains a problem free example certain to demand much attention." The specimen shown is one of a series struck 1844-52 at the Guadalupe y Calvo mint. That mint struck all the silver and gold denominations used during the republic, from the quarter real to the eight escudos. None are common, tho the gold tends to appear more often than the silver.<br />
