This issue was minted in Lisbon for the Portuguese colony of [[Macao]] in 1982-85. The coin is common altho the precious metal versions sold to collectors are scarce. It is the last of the denomination. Unlike the other colonies of [[Portugal]], there was never any agitation for independence but the colony was returned to China in 1999.
