This specimen was lot 1161 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), where it sold for $870. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Israel]]. 10 Sheqalim, 1981. Weight 0.5000 ounce. People of the Book. Value. Reverse; Stylized design within book. Choice Brilliant Proof." This type was accompanied by a silver 2 sheqalim (KM 112), which were probably sold in sets. The coinage was reformed in 1985-86, with 1,000 sheqalim = 1 new sheqalim.
