The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[India, Hyderabad|HYDERABAD]]: Mir Usman Ali Khan, 1911-1948, AR rupee, AH1332 year 3, lightly toned, NGC graded MS64, ex The 1914 Collection." The princely state of Hyderabad was one of the last absorbed into the Republic of India in 1948. It was also the largest state and residence of the last remnant of Mughal suzerainty in central India. This type was issued years 1-3 and 6-14 and is common altho some dates are scarce.
