A poltura struck for [[Hungary]] while Charles VI was emperor. This specimen was lot 1201 in Jean Elsen sale 108 (Brussels, March 2011) where it sold for 60 euros ($98.56 including buyer's fee). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''SAINT EMPIRE, Charles VI (1711-1740), AR poltura, 1715 PH, atelier incertain. Type hongrois. Droit : B. l. et cuirassé à droite. Revers : La Madone à l'enfant sur une nuée, au-dessus de la valeur et de la date. Petite tache au droit et légère fin de plaque. Superbe à Fleur de Coin ''" (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI, 1711-40, silver poltura of 1715, unknown mint, Hungarian type. Obverse: laureate, armored bust to right; reverse: the Madonna and Child on a cloud, date and value below. Edge nick, Extremely Fine to Uncirculated.)</blockquote> The type was struck 1711-31. Altho this specimen looks silvery, its fineness is likely similar to the issues of the 1740's which were below 25% silver. The denomination was converted to copper in 1763. Two polturen = three krajczar = one groschen.
