The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Leopold I., 1657-1705. Reichstaler 1694 KB, Kremnitz. Winz. Kratzer, sehr schön +.'' ([[Austria|Holy Roman Empire]], Leopold I, 1657-1705, thaler of 1694, Kremnitz mint. Light hairlines, very fine or better.)"</blockquote> This type, struck 1681-1700 in many varieties (Dav-3260, [[Hungary 1691-KB thaler Dav-3261|-3261]], -3262, -3262A, -3262B, [[Hungary 1693-KB thaler Dav-3263|-3263]], -3263A, -3264, -3265), is common. This variety, struck 1695-99, is listed as one of the more common thalers of the period. [[Hungary]] in 1694 had been freshly reconquered from the Turks but was not part of the Empire.
