This specimen was lot 1778 in Goldberg sale 112 (Los Angeles, September 2019), where it sold for $630. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Honduras]]. 500 Lempiras, 1992. Bicentenary of the Birth of General Francisco Morazan. NGC graded Proof 69 Ultra Cameo." This commemorative was accompanied by a gold 200 lempiras (KM 86). Morazon is considered the founder of Honduras, as he resisted Guatemalan attempts to join all of Central America into one federation.<br />
