This specimen was lot 24712 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;[1]&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt; noted, &amp;quot;Hamburg. Free City gold Ducat 1774, MS62 NGC, in the name of Joseph II. Nice original toning with exceptionally sharp details, an appealing mint state specimen.&amp;quot; This type was struck 1773-88 in small numbers. Hamburg did not give up minting ducats until 1872, amid the coinage reform resulting from unification.&lt;br /&gt;
