This specimen was lot 4211 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 1,100 CHF (about US$1,658 including buyers' fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''SCHWEIZ Graubünden, Haldenstein, Herrschaft Thomas I. von Schauenstein-Ehrenfels, 1609-1628. Taler 1621, Haldenstein. Sehr selten. Fast sehr schön.'' ([[Switzerland]], canton of Grisons, lordship of [[Switzerland, Haldenstein|Haldenstein]], Thomas I of Schauenstein-Ehrenfels, 1609-28, thaler of 1621, Haldenstein mint. Very rare, About Very Fine.)"</blockquote> Haldenstein was a barony in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It is about two miles down the river Rhine from the town of Chur, which also issued coins. The last coins are dated 1695.<br />
